Gold Coast Sea World Theme Park

Saturday, October 25th, 2008

Visit Sea World on Australia’s Gold Coast – the most amazing world of all! Make contact with marine life wonders and experience a whole world of exciting rides, shows and attractions.
Sea World on Queensland’s Gold Coast is the coastal strip’s oldest theme park, having been started in 1958 as Surfers Paradise Ski Gardens at Carrara and later renamed and relocated to Sea World Drive in 1971.

Sharks and polar bears
One of its newer attractions is Shark Bay (not to be confused with Shark Bay in Western Australia) where not only can you view sharks swimming about but you can swim with them as well.
And now there are young polar bears Hudson and Nelson, and their more adult counterparts Lia and Lutik, at Polar Bear Shores.

Sea World, with continuously-fashioned new attractions, remains a Gold Coast theme park favorite.

Shark Bay is the world’s largest man-made lagoon system for sharks and houses some of the most awe-inspiring of the species in an innovative exhibit at Sea World. Step back in time into the 1960s at Sea World’s new Waterski WipeOut, an energetic show set in the ‘Golden Era’ of Surfers Paradise. Come and see Australia’s only Polar bears in their home at Sea World’s Polar Bear Shores.

Sea World Resort is Australia’s Number 1 Theme Park resort, renowned for its excellent accommodation, superb facilities and friendly staff. Situated on Queensland’s glorious Gold Coast, the secluded and luxurious resort is bordered by a world famous surf beach and the idyllic Broadwater.

A low rise resort set amongst beautiful tropical gardens featuring attractive rainforest atriums, Sea World Resort consists of 405 rooms in three different accommodation wings. All rooms at Sea World Resort feature a balcony or patio and offer garden, pool or Broadwater views.

Featuring restaurants and bars, plus extensive conference facilities, a Kids Club and a host of water sport activities, Sea World Resort is the perfect place for a Gold Coast holiday getaway for business or with the family.

Sea World Resort’s unique features include a monorail link to Gold Coast Sea World, absolute waterfront conference and meeting facilities, a popular Kid’s Club, heated lagoon-shaped swimming pool and award winning restaurants, just to name a few.
